The reverse engineer component in the EasySEO software is the real brains of the show. Within a few minutes, you can get highly valuable information that would otherwise take hours to compile. It hits two birds with one stone. It spies on your likely competitor's keyword optimization strategies, while at the same time gives you valuable information on how the search engines rank websites. It does this all unobtrusively, so your site won't get penalized for using automated queries.

The first step involves choosing a search engine, and then doing a search on it using the keyword that you would like to rank highly for. This will give you the top 10 results. You then simply cut and paste these 10 results into the analysis boxes along with the address of your own optimizing page, select your preferences, and hit the analyze button. Now this is where the magic happens!

Our robot will go out and analyze each of these web pages on 14 different characteristics (title, meta tags, keyword densities etc). It then mathematically analyzes this information to look for relationships between results. So it may reveal that there is a strong relationship between the title keyword density on these top 10 results. This would indicate that the search engine places a strong emphasis on this factor when it is ranking pages. It also displays each of the page's characteristic results so you also can use your own judgement in the analysis.

It will then compare the results to your page, and then suggest what changes might need to be made to improve your ranking to come in line with the top results.
